Deep beneath
The chaos and chit-chatter of the world,
Swathed in a rich, lingering silence,
Entrenched power
Winds its way through the spaces between.

I feel at home in this liminal,
In the space in between,
In the past, present and future.
Living simultaneously in two worlds,
Each half peaked
And half blossoming.

I am either and neither
But mostly both.
It is in the systole
And diastole

Where I most often live.
Neither here nor there
But always on the way.

There are beginnings and endings,
One emerging out of the other.
Most days I find myself traveling in the ever present
Leaving behind yesterday with ease
And welcoming tomorrow with open arms.

Learning to live with the outcome,
More patient with the process,
And less attached to the certain.
To love what is becoming,
And the questions that keep coming...
Coming back to me.
